I took the opportunity during this year’s Baltimore Marathon to experiment with motion-blur photography.

After a 3 hour rain delay the game finally started. I had the telephoto lens on my camera to get these shots from way up in the 300 level.

I did some experiments with motion blur and assorted exposure settings during this cycling race that went through town yesterday.

11,000+ runners participated in the Baltimore Marathon & Half Marathon that started at Camden Yards and went through several parts of the city.

In the 19th century this part of town was the site of butcher shops and meat packing plants to process pigs transported from the Midwest.
