Astoria, Oregon
Astoria is near the mouth of the Columbia River where it meets the Pacific Ocean. The bridge crosses the river to Washington. The Astoria Column with the painted history on it is at the top of that hill overlooking the town.
A Willamette Valley Winery
Oregon is mostly known for the high quality Pinot noir, but they do grow other varieties of grapes.
The Northern Coast of Oregon
Hug Point, Cannon Beach – with the Haystack Rock, and Seaside on the rugged Oregon coast.
Portland Japanese Garden
The Portland Japanese Garden occupies 12 acres of Washington Park. It was designed in 1963 and opened to the public in 1967.
Multnomah Falls
The falls are 35 miles from Portland along the Columbia River.
Downtown Portland
Bridges, Streetcars, Beer, and the Portlandia statue. Some things I saw walking around town.

Giraffe with Diamond Head
You’ve got great shade trees, perfect weather, and a awesome view of Diamond Head. This resident of the Honolulu Zoo appears to be pleased.
